What We Do

Five areas of compassionate service โ€” together they form Bethanya's response to the call to love our neighbour.

01

Child & Youth Development

The young carry the hopes of a family and a community. Through education support, mentoring and character formation, we help young people grow up loved, learning and confident โ€” rooted in strong values and the love of Christ.

  • Education & school support
  • Tutoring and study programs
  • Health and nutrition initiatives
  • Environmental awareness
  • Bible classes & youth events
  • Youth transformation & mentoring
02

Service to the Elderly

The elderly deserve to live with dignity, companionship and care. Our elderly ministry offers practical support, pastoral visitation and emotional companionship โ€” addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of older neighbours in our community and beyond.

  • Friendly visits & companionship
  • Community outreach programs
  • Pastoral & emotional care
  • Health & wellness support
  • Spiritual encouragement & worship
  • Family support & advocacy
03

Differently-abled Care

Every person bears the image of God. Our differently-abled ministry works alongside children and adults โ€” and their families โ€” to support independence, dignity and inclusion, celebrating ability, courage and community.

  • Inclusion & community programs
  • Day-care & respite support
  • Assistive devices & resources
  • Special events & sports
  • Family counselling & support
  • Skills training and inclusion
04

Health Outreach

Good health is the foundation of a flourishing life. Through health awareness, partner clinics and community wellness initiatives, we bring practical healing and hope to those who would otherwise go without.

  • Partner healthcare services
  • Healthcare in communities
  • Health fairs & free clinics
  • Care for vulnerable populations
  • Health awareness & education
  • Maternal and child wellbeing
05

Disaster Relief & Rehabilitation

When disaster strikes, Bethanya stands with affected families โ€” first with relief, then with the longer work of rehabilitation. We provide emergency essentials, then help families rebuild homes, livelihoods and the confidence to walk forward.

  • Emergency relief โ€” food, water, shelter
  • Trauma support & pastoral care
  • Co-ordination with local partners
  • Long-term rehabilitation programs
  • Livelihood & housing support
  • Children's recovery & schooling
"A child is meant to learn, not to earn โ€” stop child labour."
